Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress who has gained recognition for her performance in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab, in which she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir on Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she was able to learn dancing at a young age. As a teen, she tried her hand at acting, however most of her early movies failed. Eventually she became one the most famous actresses in Indian films. After her wedding ceremony, she took a short absence from acting prior to returning. In recent times, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. Her social work is also well-known.
